A former collegiate football player and coach, Evan Loring subsequently transitioned into an IT career. He now serves as a senior cloud solutions manager with MSDI in Pembroke, Massachusetts. Outside of the office, Evan Loring still finds time to play and follow football, and he lists Tom Brady as one of his all-time favorite athletes.

In addition to excelling on the field, Brady works to give back to the community by supporting various nonprofit groups. Over the years, the 11-time Pro Bowl selection and three-time Super Bowl MVP has dedicated his time and resources to organizations such the Red Cross, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, KaBOOM!, and Best Buddies International.

Each year, Brady hosts the Best Buddies Tom Brady Football Challenge to raise money in support of Best Buddies’ mission to create social, employment, and leadership development opportunities for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities. During the event, which takes place in June, fellow teammates and a number of celebrity guests join Brady on the field for a friendly game in front of Best Buddies participants and supporters.

Actors Michael Chiklis and Maria Menounos, along with other special guests, including Congressman Joseph P. Kennedy III, Governor Charlie Baker, and celebrity chef Guy Fieri, took part in the 2016 Football Challenge. Event organizers are already preparing for the next Best Buddies Tom Brady Football Challenge weekend, which will take place June 2-3, 2017, in Boston.
